Métis Veteran John Trottier (October 12, 1893 - ) of Val Marie, Saskatchewan, was conscripted to the army and enlisted on April 20, 1918 at the age of 24. He served in England and France as a member of the 46th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
